Challenge

Continuous video streaming is bandwidth-intensive and impractical over long distances or in contested RF environments. A smarter system only transmits when something worth seeing is happening.

Solution

MotionEyeOS or RPi-Cam-Web-Interface runs on the Pi and serves a live feed to any browser on the network. Recording is triggered only when motion is detected in the frame — cutting idle transmission to zero.
